We are delighted to be able to welcome you back to our hotel. For your safety and ours, in Austria the “3G” rule applies to people aged 12 years and above: Recovered. Vaccinated. Tested. At the hotel we are offering the relevant ANTIGEN TESTS free of charge for your convenience. The Green Pass has been in force since 1 July.
In order to keep us all safe and to ensure a carefree summer holiday, the so-called “3G” rule has come into effect in Austria until further notice. This means that everyone aged 12 years and over requires official evidence either that they have recovered from coronavirus, been vaccinated or have received a negative test result. In addition, we are consistently implementing well thought-out hygiene measures at our hotel.
Please note: We request that you bring the relevant 3G evidence in either GERMAN or ENGLISH with you when you arrive at the hotel. The Green Pass came into force throughout the EU on 1 July.
If you have neither recovered from coronavirus nor been vaccinated, you are required to provide up-to-date proof of a negative ANTIGEN TEST every 48 hours during your stay at Hotel Rex. This is much more pleasant and nowhere near as complicated as it may initially sound.
Contrary to the official information from the authorities, you can take the required test very CONVENIENTLY and FREE OF CHARGE at our hotel. We are covering the cost of these tests and we hold the official test licence for the state of Tyrol. Afterwards, you can enjoy your holiday to your heart’s content, safe in the knowledge that everyone else has also been tested and is virus-free.
In Austria’s hotel, catering and leisure establishments the 3G rule has proven to be reliable and successful. All of the processes are well-established in the region and a feeling of normality has developed. In places where the 3G rule is in force, the requirement to wear face masks has been lifted.
